Conveniently located on the ground floor, the English Corner is a place where students can:

• read and/or borrow readers, magazines and learning materials
• do self-access learning with computers
• watch the latest foreign movies
• play board games like Scarbble, Up Words, Cluedo and more!
• have speaking practice with NETs
• enjoy English activities organised by teachers and English Ambassadors

Aims

1. To encourage students to use the English language as a medium of spoken discourse in the English Corner.
2. To facilitate English communication through general activities and special events.
3. To provide an environment where students can access self-learning materials and use them in the English Corner.
4. To encourage students to decorate the English Corner to promote socio-cultural and linguistic understanding.
5. To provide a venue for English oral communication through presentations, role-play, discussions, games, audio-visual events, & make and do tasks etc.
